Two additional chunks of downloadable content are coming to both versions of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow in early 2011, Konami has announced.
The first pack, called Reverie, appears to be a standard, one-off DLC addition that ties into the events of the main game. According to Konami, it'll have you returning to the game's castle as Gabriel in an attempt to help the former servant Laura destroy "the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen."
The second pack, which is slated for an April release and has been dubbed Resurrection, will take place immediately following the events of Lords of Shadow. Konami says this is the more substantial of the two currently slated DLC packs, as it sheds some light on the game's cliffhanger ending and features a "final showdown with a very notorious enemy." Oh, God, I hope it's Frankenstein!
As I've said a billion times before, early 2011 will be a pretty busy time of the year. Will you be making time to return to Lords of Shadow? Or will that ship have sailed?
