According to a Joystiq post, Duels 2012 will feature "new game modes, Planeswalker opponents, decks, and puzzle challenges." It’ll also feature another tutorial mode to teach people how to play Magic: The Gathering, which is a lot harder to do than you think.
This is from the original game, but I'd imagine elephants will be in the next one, too. No word on price or specifically if the dudes behind the title will let you build your own decks of cards this time around, but I’d imagine we’ll learn all of this rather soon.
