It could be interesting if it's done right, but then, it probably won't be.

I am crossing my fingers that when the overseas outsourced Devil May Cry remake and this Resident Evil, #ugh#, squad based shooter fail miserably, as anyone with any sense for how the western market works could predict then, finally, finally, after over 5 years of disasters CAPCOM's upper management will get the message. 
 
Stop wasting development resources by outsourcing to overseas studios, there is no future there, this is game development for gods sake, it is a craft, not car manufacturing that can be handed down to the lowest bidder.

Well Devil May Cry hasn't come out yet and I think the fan reaction to Dante's new look is stupid, now if the game is garbage go right on ahead and dump on Ninja Theory but it isn't out. Now if you want to look at bad examples of Capcom western developed games Bionic Commando comes to mind.  "

I don't want to play co-op! I want sIngle player creepy survival, Capcom officially don't know what they're doing... Scary!

Slant six destroyed SOCOM, so i wouldn't trust them with this game either. They shipped a game that was missing half the features that were on the back of the friggin box, i don't even know how they got away with that.

I knew there was a serious lack of spinoffs lately with this franchise...
Seriously, they used to make a ton more before.

Competitive multiplayer? Cause that worked out so well last time.

I love Left 4 Dead, I liked Killing Floor, and LOVED Resident Evil 5 online with my friends. I think I'll be enjoying this game too :)

socom confrontation left such a bad first impression, im not excited at all by this. I totally will give them another chance, its just hard to see anything in a resident evil shooter from the team who did socom confrontation

As long as I can run and shoot at the same time, this will be great. If that isn't the case, I won't stand a chance against the people who don't have to play Resident Evil games on easy.

I am really looking forward to more news about this game. I have high hopes.

Sounds OK, but remembering the previous attempts at co-op RE games has me a bit more cautious.

this could really go ether way, hope its on the good side. 

This actually gives me hope for RE6. If the spin-off games in the series focus on the more action shooter-y type stuff that hopefully leaves the main entries left to be more atmospheric, slower-paced, survival horror like they used to be.

Hm... I don't know about this one. After renting SOCOM confrontation lets just say I thought the series would be dead after that but who knows. Maybe Slant Six learned from its mistakes on what not to do and improve its game quality. 

Resident Evil without Shinji Mikami gives us RE5...I'm going to need to see more of this to convince me it's a good idea.

This is a Resident Evil game I would actually consider playing. Although slant six does give me pause.
