Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host this week as we look back on the best and most creative offerings from the Giant Bomb Community! This week, the Giant Bomb Community was feeling especially charitable with Alex showcasing his excellent drumming skills in Rock Band, yet again, and former staff member Drew is collecting a great deal of supporters for their pending charity drive. If you are interested in learning about either, feel free to jump into our housekeeping items right away. However, please take the time to check out the rest of the community's great works as they truly show the best and brightest of our bustling website.
- Extra Life started early this year with Alex's drumming marathon sessions taking place last weekend. As it stands today, The Beatles: Rock Band stream raised Giant Bomb's EXTRALIFE total to $8,414 and the team total shot up to $14,276! Keep the donations rolling and spread the word!
- Also, moderators Mento and Marino worked on compiling the STATS for Alex's Rock Band stream. See which songs Alex's eclectic group of "musicians" nailed and struggled!
- Speaking of charitable events, Drew is raising money for MS research again! Starting on Monday, September 16th, Drew will be biking for MS research, so if you can, spread the word and donate if possible.
