The Community Spotlight 2020.06.06

Choose your favorite Bradley and then check out this week's best from the Giant Bomb Community.

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the best creative offerings from the Giant Bomb Community. I'm going to be honest with you, I have written these motivational introductions for over five years, and this one may be the hardest I have ever written. Last week was rough for millions of people around the world. For those of you fighting to dismantle centuries worth of systemic oppression and brutality, I applaud your efforts. For those of you who are not able to join protests, I'll borrow Jan's piece of advice from last week's Bombcast, use your privilege or platform for good. Below, I'll link to several donation opportunities that will assist various efforts to make the world a better place. If you are not able to donate yourself, please consider amplifying these voices.

Remember when Maxis was on its "A-Game?"

I normally do not do this, but with SimRefinery, I'm going to make an exception. We recently added this game to the database and considering its INSANE backstory, it would be great if someone took the time to submit the game's development history to our wiki page. Just remember, do not copy and paste text from another source and follow our wiki rules.

I used to make PP&J with a thin schmear of peanut butter and thinner schmear of jelly like less than >1 mm thickness of the spreads. I has an aversion to goopy stuff as a kid. But, now I lay on the layers thicker - because I'm adult who has needs.

I always thought he appeared in so little video content in his brief time with the site, but it turns out: he was just ALL OVER Vinnyvania, so I've been reliving that personally.

Loved him on the podcast, and the occasional time he showed up on features where they all played something multiplayer, quicklooks were dope, since he brought to the table games a lot of others may have not.
