Thursday Night Throwdown 08/19: Monday Night Combat

Thursday Night Throwdown gets dissonant this week with Monday Night Combat, the recent surprise Xbox Live Arcade hit that has been lazily--and fairly accurately--described as a mashup of Defense of the Ancients and Team Fortress 2. Apparently we picked the right game this week, as our friends list has been full up since Monday! If you didn't make the cut, our condolences, though you can still watch as we buy turrets, gun down annoying mascots, and show you the moneyball on our live video stream! I like the looks of this game, but I'm just not sure I'll be able to put down TF2 long enough to really give it a fair shake.

I got on the friends list but my gold decided to run out yesterday so I most likely won't be able to join you guys. I'll still tune in though!

I have high hopes for this weeks TNT.

I done stabbed Norm in TF2 a bunch, now I'm gonna stab me  some Giant Bomb crew.

The next TNT should definitely be Fat Princess.

This TNC TNT should be pretty good.

I actually managed to get on the list.  Can't wait to get in on the action! 
I'll probably jump on the game in about a half-hour just to get into my rhythm (no... I'm not any good at the game, but I'd still like to do relatively well!)

I know almost nothing about this game, but I guess I'm gonna find out soon.

Damn, I tried to get in on this like ten separate times.

The friends list was full within like 30 minutes of I love Mondays. So I can't play.... :(

I'm not a huge fan of TF2 (don't get me wrong, it's good fun, but it doesn't quite click with me), so I've kept away from MNC - this may sway my mind one way or the other.
