i haven't played a good jrpg in a while so im crossing my fingers for this.

If this game is any good, then I will definitely be getting a PS3...sometime in the future. There's enough titles that have caught my interest.

I honestly can't wait for this game, but, i've always been a huge RPG fan so i'm kinda biased. It'll definitely be something to hold me over until the new Final Fantasies come out.

If i ever own a console that can play PS3 games, this title will be in my collection. It looks great

I think it looks pretty solid, though I'm pretty sure that PS3 Launch footage of this game looked better than what's been shown here (I bet it was prerendered)

Hmm. I aqm n ot going to write it off on that trailer alone but I agree so far not really anything special about what i saw.

Level 5 is my favorite japanese developper studio. I like their style. I'll certainly buy this one unless reviews are coming out hard on it. We need to send a message to sony, we need more RPGS and the only way to send this message right now is by buying rpgs. Simple.

When I finally buy a PS3, White Knight Chronicles'll definitely be added to my collection. Seems like it'll be a really fun game.

It's a Level 5 game. There's a reason Square gave them the Dragon Quest franchise. Because they make better RPG's that Square does.

Can't wait to check it out. hope I'm not disappointed.

Eh...I'm tired of the whole 15 year old kid (just like YOU!!!!!!) being the epic hero thing.  Although I suppose that is truly the "role-play" aspect for a good chunk of the audience.

I've been hearing buzz about this for a long time. Looks decent but I'm a little burned out on JRPGs at the moment.

This looked promising when it was first announced, but it's looking more and more generic every time I see it.  Hopefully it will have some revolutionary combat system or a better story than the trailers have conveyed.

I've seen some actual gameplay and it looks pretty sweet, but its for ps3 which i dont own so -sigh-

Some of the design elements look cool, but there's some inner part of me that starts up the warning bells, saying there are going to be a ton of painful cliches that won't be any different than games that came before...  *deep breath*

Damn did you see that guys mustache towards the end?!   :P

I don't like these manga RPGs, the gameplay is a little wack for my taste, but having said that, they are the most beautiful games on the market.

PS: Also 'Leonard'....wtf?

Did I see a city eating worm? Didn't I kill that thing in Gears 2?!? :D

Every time I see a video of this game, I feel less and less excited about it.

That very first video from a couple years ago was amazing, and since then it looks like they've done their best to turn it into the most generic JRPG ever. And the graphics aren't even good! Hell, Eternal Sonata looks better.

Looks promising.  Level-5 did do Professor Layton and the Curious Village so,  Let's see how things go, BEFORE dismissing it out of hand.  Who knows, It might be good, stranger things have happened.

I was always a little disappointed that Level-5 opted for this kind of graphical style when they did some of the best cel-shading on the PS2. Aside from the androgynous hero, it doesn't look that much different from a Western RPG IMO (and when you take into consideration the type of voice acting, battle system and highly cinematic soundtrack, I think they were actually going for that vibe).

It never appealed to me a whole lot, but if I ever get a PS3 I'll pick it up anyway out of loyalty to the company.

Level 5 is an amazing company, but I'm pretty sure that this is one of the games that Famitsu reamed pretty hard...

ahh the graffic does not look all that impressive comsiddering its a ps3 release (or going to be atleast) but ill proberly end up buying this one. but more data on the game would be nice mayb some gameplay vids when they realease it then i can say for sure

I'm surprised at the graphic quality.  It looks like an early 360 rather than a modern PS3 exclusive.

I don't know what some of you guys are talking about, personally I think it looks amazing!

It's like they can't decide whether their art style is anime-like, western cartoon, or realistic.

man.. this game looks like it has something wicked up it's sleeves! i'm very frightened to purchase such a game since most reviewers these days are FPS nuts who don't really care for any form of RPG's anymore..

that being said, the quote in the trailer, "we have to stop him before he becomes any more powerful" seems like a possible plot twist. i'm crossing my fingers that the innocent Leanard (spelling?) kid turns wicked evil and the game shifts to players having to kill him! doubtful tho, has any RPG ever had the main character get turned evil and then the rest of the cast has to kill him? (FF7 doesn't count since no play time was really spent on sephiroth)

To me this looks like a generic PS2 RPG. Nothing special.

Ahhh I am able to watch a video on a gaming website without having to see the same damn product placement trailer before it? Why do I even bother to get on Gamespot anymore anyways........

Games looks interesting though. I'll keep my eyes open.

Meh. The last thing I need is more generic fantasy told through the japanese RPG format. Frankly I'm pretty much done with the whole fantasy thing, period. Persona 3 and 4. Now those are JRPG's I can get behind. Fallout 3. Check.

Fable 2 is about the closest thing to swords and sorcery I ever want to get, and even that was more pre-victorian than middle ages. Also it was, you know, good.

I'm not getting behind Gundam Wing: Black Plague Ages.
