    A couple years ago I rented Assassin's Creed  and I stopped playing because I felt it was repetitive. 
     
    Today I received Assassin's Creed 2 in the mail and I just started to play.  
     
    I just saw Enzio's birth and now Lucy's covered in blood and Desmond keeps asking her about her lab coat. What the fuck did I miss in the first game?

    Why not just read the Wikipedia summary or watch Youtube videos?  That's what I did. 
     
    But I don't even remember what you mentioned.

    There's this thing called the internets that will fill you in on pretty much anything if you know how to ask it nicely.

    I didn't think that Wikipedia posted the entire story of a game. I just want to know what happened to Lucy and Desmond in the first one.

    i didn`t play the first one, but I felt that I didn`t need it, I didn`t focus on desmonds story,ezio is much more interesting

    The first game ended with Desmond using the eagle vision in real life and finding these weird drawings in his room, so there was a bit of a gap between the games.  Basically, Lucy has decided to turn against the evil scientist and help Desmond escape because she felt guilty for being in on the horrible Illuminati stuff. I can only assume that Lucy fought off some guards to help clear Desmond's path.

    I was giving an honest suggestion.  I just went on Wikipedia, pressed "ctrl+f" and searched Lucy and I found out everything that the original poster was asking.  It's not that hard.
