Any aspect of Assassin's Creed II which makes it flawed can be explained away with one word, "Animus".  If the animus acts up, who knows what could happen.

Does the PC version come with the DLC, because I feel like the bonfire of the vanities and the battle of forli weren't in the vanilla game. Those two parts are what killed that game for me, they were pointless and extremely boring/frustrating.

Yeah I was expecting Bonfire of the Vanities to really feel like an event is taking place in Florence. In truth I saw about one bonfire, and some lack-luster crowd scenes were not enough to convince me of the urgency of the situation.

ASsassin's Creed 2 is a fucking GREAT game. It's VERY close to perfect for me. The mystery, the story, the awesome characters, the gameplay, it's so fucking amazing
