    Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation Review 0

The Assassin’s Creed series is one of the biggest gaming franchises of this console generation, and one of my most favorite game series to have ever gotten the pleasure of playing. I’ve always been a geek for history and the Assassin Creed games allowed me to escape to those historical worlds I could have only ventured into with books and movies. I got to personally relive history.Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation is the first the first portable entry for the franchise to actually be like the games...

    Good, not great. 4

Having just finished Liberation and reading Alex's review - I agree with him. From the perspective of a first time "Creeder" (and someone hoping for a great Vita game), Liberation is just okay, and here's why:The story is not clear - more than the grander Templar/Assassin framework - the on the ground, nuts and bolts story beats are muddled. Other than get to point "X" to do "Z," I was often left wondering "why." And not for lack of trying. To its credit, Liberation keeps an index on its major p...

Assassins Creed III: Liberation is a game you want to like, believe me I went into the game expecting the worst. Playing through it the story was relativity short and simple. You play as Aveline A half French half African-American woman in New Orleans during the time of the events that Conner is living through. The mission structure in Liberation is like the rest of the series with optional objectives and such. The missions are short and it works well on the vita where you can play a mission here...

    Potential Wasted 0

Assassin’s Creed Liberation is a really odd game. It is a game of combined successes and failures that come together to make a game while original, is not totally great. Let’s talk about some high points though. You know, to kick things off.First of all, this is a console quality game put on a handheld. The Vita is a powerful little device, and its ability to show off Colonial-era New Orleans is nothing short of astounding. While I encountered minor frame-rate issues when too many enemies came o...

A Fun but Flawed Assassin's Creed Game 1

After a rocky start, I found myself really enjoying Assassin's Creed Liberation and I believe that Ubisoft has largely been successful in bringing an Assassin's Creed game to a mobile gaming platform. If only they'd put as much care into it as they do in the larger console offerings, I could give it a better score, but wonky Vita only mechanics, some weird bugs, and a slap dash attempt at story telling keep this as a good but not great game. However, Liberation has at least re-kindled my interes...
