    Assassin's Creed is a stealth action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. In the year 2012, Desmond Miles is kidnapped and made to relive his ancestor's memory through a machine called the Animus. As the ancestor, Altaïr, players unveil an assassin conspiracy set in the middle ages.

    Definately a Rental

    When me and my dad sat down and played Assasins Creed for the first time we were in awe, [he still is]. And to cut it short the first half of the game is some of the best gameplay i have EVER layed my hands on. But then the second half sets in, the crappy AI bugs, the repetitiveness and the Boss kills SUCK, they say theres "freedom" but if theyre were anyother options to take out a target other than sneak halfway in and kill everything in sight with the overly powerful counter attacks PLZ TELL ME!. I thought that i wasted 60 dollars when i got this the day it came out and i couldnt be more disgusted with myself for not waiting for the reviews. LOVE IT, but HATE IT, if i had rented it i wouldnt be so upset with it, but overall do not buy it i have yet to play it since the second week i bought it, [but my dad still collects flags] LAWL

      Hard to really comment on the game to a sufficient level without giving too much of the storyline away for those who have yet to experience the majority of the game, but I'll give it a whirl. The majority of the game is set in 1191, during the third crusade in the holy land. You play the character Altaïr, an assassin after an artifact that the Knights Templar are searching for.       Assassin’s Creed is a third-person, Third Crusades-inspired, conspiracy-laden, sandbox-styled, stealth-oriented, action-filled, anti-religious, virtual reality simulating, preachy adventure game.
