The infamous psychiatric asylum where all of Batman's most nefarious enemies are held. The 2009 game, Batman: Arkham Asylum plays out entirely on these grounds.
Arkham City is an isolated section of Gotham City which is used to house prisoners of Blackgate and the inmates from Arkham Asylum. It is the principle setting for Batman: Arkham City.
The Batcave is the secret lair of The Dark Knight. A cavernous series of connecting cave systems located deep below Wayne Manor, the Batcave provides both storage and sanctuary to Batman during his fight against crime.
Blackgate Penitentiary is a prison in the DC Comics universe. It is located in Gotham City.

A hospital for people with mental illnesses. The prison-like insane asylums of old are the kind usually seen in video games, being an extremely popular horror game setting.
Area above houses and buildings. You can walk, run or jump on and over rooftops. Usually good sniping positions.

When trains aren't objects, they're usually locations. Famous train sequences include the subway ride in Final Fight, and the haunted train ride in Blood, which required you to sabotage the engine to get to the next level.
Underneath a planet's surface is considered to be underground, especially if it is near the top of the surface. Some of the games have you digging through the dirt.
