Battle Chess has been quoted as “a chess game for people who don’t like chess” and that sums it up perfectly. Bringing each piece to life by adding comical animations to them, moving across the board and violently attacking one another, quashing the stereotypes and vivifying what is now considered an old-fashioned board game. A chess game at its core, this game is the perfect example on how aesthetic production values such as the anmations in this case make or break the game. In this case, they absolutely MAKE the game.
