Battle Princess Madelyn is a 2D indie medieval-fantasy side-scrolling platformer developed and digitally published by Causal Bit Games (both as Casual Bit Games and Monster Bath Studios, later as Monster Bath Games) for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on December 4, 2018. Wii U and PlayStation Vita versions were announced, but later cancelled.

A retro-themed throwback game highly reminiscent Capcom's earlier Ghosts 'n Goblins series of platformers, Battle Princess Madelyn has players the titular young knight (along with her ghostly pet dog Fritzy) as they journey to save her kingdom from the clutches of an evil wizard. The game can be played both as a traditional Arcade Mode and as a dedicated Story Mode (with an overworld map, NPCs, and side-quests).

The Switch version received a second revision on April 9, 2019 as Battle Princess Madelyn: Royal Edition, featuring redesigned stages and new content. This version received a retail release by Limited Run Games on October 25, 2019.

The game was later ported to arcades using PC-based exA-Arcadia hardware on November 14, 2020. Known as Super Battle Princess Madelyn in English and Makai to Touki Madelyn ("Hell and Fighting Princess Madelyn") in Japanese, this version revamps the game's graphics and level structure for arcade play while featuring an optional harder mode, known as "EXA Mode".
