Australian retailer JBHiFi has rumored to have broken the street date of BF3. EB Games has started selling the game reported by their Facebook and twitter feeds as a response to the break. So all you Australians who are waiting for the midnight launch (like me) contact your local game store and see whether you can pick yours up before close this afternoon. See you online.

I don't think the Gaming industry here in Australia cares enough to release on street dates. More than a few times, I've found games being sold at JB before they're supposed to.

I did laugh at their "Pre-Order Dark Souls! Oct 27" thing when the game's sitting right next to it, though.

Well when you pay twice as much for the same product you should get some kind of special treatment.

We've been having a bit of a trend of street date breaks lately. Here's hoping it continues.

@TheFridge: That's pretty awesome. I'd like to see that kind of stuff elsewhere - especially in the European countries which don't get the game till Friday. It's so dumb the artificial delay they put on release in other regions, excluding people from a game which is out in the exact same form on the other side of the ocean. I wanna see more retailers making a difference!
