I'm actually a huge fan of BC2. To me, it was a fresh evolution of the series, and I've been here since the BF1942 day one demo release. Unfortunately, I have neither the computer or the expenses, or even the desire, to play BF3 on the PC. That leaves me with the 360 version.

My major issue with BC2 on consoles, is the inability to effectively communicate with non-squad members. Granted you have context commands, but its so much more simple to be able to chat with a person over headset.

Any word on if its still going to be the severely limiting squad-only chat? Or will it be open to more channels of talk?

I hope it will be a squad only chat. Otherwise imagine what will happen if you play against a bunch of 13 year old kids (which, believe me, will most likely happen quite often).
 
Or if they add an all-chat channel, there should be an option to mute players.
