Battlefield 3 is DICE's third numerical installment in the Battlefield franchise. It features a single player and co-operative campaign, as well as an extensive multiplayer component.
@FrostTee: I didn't have time to watch the whole thing, but I have to say one thing: I remember when BF1942 was the most beautiful graphics masterpiece that I had ever seen and I had to go to an internet cafe to play it.
Hey, does anyone know which video was the one where it was semi-historical, and when they talked about Battlefield Vietnam they had the dude piloting the chopper listening to NSYNC? I can't find it!
Thanks for sharing this video. While I may not own every game of the Battlefield franchise (Modern Combat and Bad Company never really felt like it controlled right on the consoles), I have played all of them, right from the start with the Battlefield 1942 demo. While the documentary brought up no new information for me as someone who lived through the expansions, it certainly was very interesting and brought back a lot of fun memories. This video was definitely a good use of 45 minutes.
All of the trailers, and the soundtrack remixes, ending with Battlefield 3's signature static-y bass/percussion, has me pumped to get back into the game whenever my friends are around tonight. It's been a good decade.
Good video. Vietnam was underrated. It was a ton of fun. The Vietnam expansion for BC2 was super fun as well. It's funny, because I've been listening to CCR lately, which is present in both.
1942 was fun because there wasn't all this crazy stuff that was built into the game, you had to do it yourself. And Battle For Britain. Oh man, that was the best map ever. Planes for everyone!
