The PC version, of course.
E: The normal retail one.
What version of the game will you be getting?
I'm not sure whether I should buy this Limited now, or wait for it to come out on steam. Digital Distribution via Steam is really the main way i shop. How bout all of you?

It would depend on my situation I guess. For the next year, I'm most likely not going to have a console so I'll probably just get it on PC.
If I had a free choice, it would come down to the features that matter to me. Player counts don't really matter to me, but if there's some meaningful difference in content then I'd choose that version.
I'm getting this: http://www.webhallen.com/spel/pc/99046-battlefield_3-limited_edition
Since every retail box being produced in the first 3 months will be 'Limited Edition', as per usual with EA games these days, every Day 1 buyer will get a Limited Edition.
I'll get the PC Limited Edition. Maybe even a collectors edition, if there's gonna be such a thing. I might get the PS3 version too, depending on review scores. There's definitely gonna be quite a difference in gameplay between the console and PC versions. PC version supports 3x more players than the console version.
Luckily I'm prepared for it hardware wise. Really looking foward. Hoping there's gonna be native gamepad support for vehicular gameplay (I'd actually do everything with gamepad).

" @raiz265 said:I don't think they have, but they're usually the same as the retail version, which is overpriced considering you're not getting anything physical." normal boxed i think since steam is hilariously overpriced "Steam has announced a price? Given that both EA and amazon have it at $49 "
" @raiz265 said:if i compare Steam to the price over at amazon.de for newly released games, most of the time it's higher on steam" normal boxed i think since steam is hilariously overpriced "Steam has announced a price? Given that both EA and amazon have it at $49 "
" @ch13696 said:The box art and stuff? C'mon, you know you gotta have the box eyeing you like crazy. Begging you to play him." Definitely the PC boxed version. As much as I love Steam, this is one of those "gotta have everything" moments. "...what would you miss out if you got Steam? "
Probably I will get the console version. The whole armchair&TV; vs. little monitor&office; chair argument. Also I consider using things like flight sticks cheating. Gamepads are a great equalizer. I prefer that.
Oh, PC elitists, you guys are so nutty. I guess I'm doing it wrong, but I'm picking up a PS3 copy.
" anyone who selected anything other than PC (unless you don't have one) is wrong. Battlefield 3, Valve and Blizzard games are the only thing i'll be a PC fanboy for! "
