Heym considering buying this game since it's discounted on PS4 but I have heard about all the issues that have been ruining this game for a long time, so did they fix it with patches? And is it still popular?

Far as I know most of the issues were with the PC version of the game. Last I heard the PS4 version runs smoothly and has a active multiplayer community.
