After watching my teammates inevitably destroy our helicopter (or similar valuable asset), I've probably grabbed an ATV and am bounding across the sand/dirt/grass toward the enemy team's closest capture point to instill a little chaos. What's your first move in a match?

Blasting someone in the head with my Spas-12 shotgun.

Find a rock and cower-tossing ammo/health packs everywhere on my way there.

Grab the Helicopter. Proceed to swan dive.

C4 car or atv.

Take the tank and rush the enemy base so some dumbass doesn't camp spawn with it doing nothing all game. 

Slowing the enemy down by capturing their nearest capture point is a good strategy if you have some people to back you up.

Either laying mines all over the main road then finding a decent spot overlooking the enemy approach, or hopping in a vehicle and shooting some duders.

My first move is to see what squads are there and to join the one with the highest ranked people who are not wookies.

if i can get into a heli il show off my extreme piloting skills with a series of risky maneuvers, if not il start hunting down people with my sniper rifle

Attacking: Spawn as a recon and put a mortar strike on the first destructible house with a comstation in it i see. Then go over to supporting squaddies and blue guys 
Defending: Spawn as the most useful class depending on the map, throw up some defenses such as mines or throw out some HPs or APs. then find a good spot to start picking off the attackers

I usually roll up an Engineer to start with and either try and knock out the other side's vehicles, or grab an alt spot on a tank or APC.  About 10 seconds after that I usually flip out about how many of my team are playing Recon, even though we're attacking a Rush game.  Selfish fucks.  Srsly, Recon class cap would make this game a fuck load better.

if 'm defending I'll whip out my 6 anti tank mines and scatter two sets of 3 of them in places i know tanks are coming from.
 
if I'm attacking I'll just pick a random class, but not sniper

See if there's any Vehicles that need being taught a lesson.

Any vehicle that can get me to the capture point fastest. Just not the helicopter. Damn i suck at driving them.

Sprint to the helicopter, wait till everyone is on board and then proceed to crash it in the closest m-com station taking everyone with me to glorious heaven, if there is such thing in the world of battlefield >_>

Depends on the map

If it's a map with armor, pick engie, and ATV sprint to the middle flag. Then sit and RPG any light armor that tries to push to far past its infantry support.
 
Without armor, assault and atv to slow down the enemy advance.

Spawn as a recon, find a nice overlook, and start spotting as many people as possible and countersniping.

Have the game installed so it loads faster.
Hammer the A (or X) button until it loads the match.
Select my assault kit with either the AN-94 (for larger maps) or the M416.
Either grab a tank and kill fools at the first chance or sprint in from the side and kill as many fuckers as I can.

I only play rush so if im defending I'll be setting a mortar strike down on the main routes that people will be coming through or putting mortars into whatever m com station can be brought down

Get on a quad and rush to the nearest capture point. 

friend gets on the uav i c4 it and he goes to the enemy

I always grab a helicopter if possible, I'm damn good at flying them so I try to score alot of points

As an attacker on RUSH; pushing the base usually with an ATV. Trying to get a quick destruction.
 
As a defender on RUSH; pushing the attackers spawn site trying to get some kills as assault or engineer.

hide in the trees until there's an opening for me to attack :)

I grab an ATV and head towards the nearest objective. Either that or I grab a tank. Or in unfortunate circumstances I'm running.

List of priorities:
1. Go for the chopper.
2. Go for a tank.
3. Go for an apc.
4. Hoof it.
