VIP Map Pack 5 Released
white pass on rush sucks as most of the bombs are located in buildings. nelson bay is alright except for the fact that one side parachutes in and the other sides doesn't. so the side that doesn't chute in has a better chance of getting 2 flags first. and the maps were not released just "unlocked". we probably won't hget any real new maps until the vietnam expansion
Not probably, we just won't get any new maps until Vietnam." white pass on rush sucks as most of the bombs are located in buildings. nelson bay is alright except for the fact that one side parachutes in and the other sides doesn't. so the side that doesn't chute in has a better chance of getting 2 flags first. and the maps were not released just "unlocked". we probably won't hget any real new maps until the vietnam expansion "

I kind of like what DICE is doing delaying all map packs like every month coz I just keep coming back to the game hehe! When map pack 1 was released initially with the game, I already got addicted to the game and played all the maps. And after a month I'll kind of grow tired of the maps I usually play, then another map pack comes out and it gets me back to playing the game again. It's kind of pointless though to actually delay it since it's all on the disc anyway, but it does help the game stay alive online since people play these new maps. If you release all the maps at once in the beginning, people will easily get tired of the game and fewer will play as months pass by.
I haven't tried map pack 5 yet and I'm excited to get back on the Battlefield later ;)
" @Mmmslash: I don't see how a Laguna Alta Rush Map is possible. "They turned Laguna Presa into a rush map by adding a few new areas, so they could do the same thing.
I think it's incredibly dumb to release map packs that don't actually include new maps, just stuff that should already be in the game. DICE have lost respect from me for that.
They didn't announce the map pack to be "new maps", they're just map packs, packs that include maps. lol!
And come on, it's free. Why complain? Just because it wasn't immediately available on release date? When you need to pay, people complain. When it's free, people still complain. Accept it, it's just a tactic for DICE to keep the multiplayer alive since day 1. If you don't want to play it, then don't, no one is forcing you to play and rant about it. As for me and for others who want to play these map packs, we will go back to BFBC2 and have fun playing it.
Even if these are old maps unlocked for other modes, they all still feel different when played. I don't even recognize White Pass that much when I played it on Rush, coz you'll always have a different tactic for different modes.
