    Description

Bean bags are a kind of less lethal round that uses blunt force to disable or knock people. This type of ammunition is often weak, though is still capable of causing considerable injury to a target. Some games reward players for using non-lethal methods of dispatching enemies, and 2005's True Crime: New York City was one of these games. A 'Beanbag Shotgun' is available, and allows players to shoot a target to incapacitate them, before walking up and slapping the cuffs on. Bean Bag Rounds are made from a tough fabric, filled with birdshot, meaning that they have enough force to floor a target. They are available in a variety of styles - for example, some are deliberately shaped to make contact with a large amount of the human body, or to travel longer distances.
