Bear

Overview

The Bear is 1 of 4 souls available to collect in the 2nd Chapter of Wytchwood (after 'First Thing's First'). He resides in the Lakeshore Camp on the central-west side of the Forest map. Some crafting materials necessary to complete this quest involve venturing out into the Swamp and Fields.

• From the Forest Portal, head directly west to the Lakeshore Path wooden signs.
• Speak to Dongus and Dingus (Witch's eye: Unenthused Sentries)

• Head to the south-east section of the map.
• Along the dirt path, there is a man with green skin, a quill and paper, and a broken carriage behind him.

• Return to the Lakeshore Path (see Quest 0)
• Speak to Dongus and Dingus (Witch's Eye: Unenthused Sentries)
• Receive quest, "Get Past the Lakeshore Camp Guards"

(Note: Player may have already obtained (x3) Gold Coins from the First Thing's First chapter. If so, ignore this quest, give Dongus & Dingus the coins and proceed down to "IV. Find the Sergeant of the Lakeshore Camp (Pt. 2)"

Objective: (x3) Gold Coins

• • Leave the Lakeshore Camp and enter the Wishing Well in the Forest
  • Upon first entering the well, there are (x3) gold coins lying on the floor. These do not respawn for the rest of the game.
  • Additionally, Gold Coins have a random chance of appearing in Clay Deposits in the Forest and Wishing Well maps.
• Return to the Lakeshore Path
• Speak with Dongus and Dingus.
• Upon the dialogue prompt, give them the (x3) Gold Coins
• Once again, receive quest, "Find the Sergeant of the Lakeshore Camp"

• Walk to the east of the camp and speak with the flustered man with a blue feather on his helmet and a sword sheathed at his hip.
