According to this site Beyond Good & Evil 2 won't be coming out on this generation of consoles.

I'm thinking this game will never come out.

If they build it, it will come.

If that leaked gameplay is anything to go by, this makes sense.

The Wii U is suppposedly out 2012 and the 3DS already started "the next generation" I guess it's a question of what defines the start of a new generation though.

The 3DS ushered it in. Hell console gens are even organized on wikipedia, this is the 8th gen starting with the 3DS, continuing with Vita and Wii U. This was the exact same way last gen, DS and PSP ushered in the 7th.
