    Treasure said to be hidden somewhere in the Tri-Island area around Monkey Island. No one knows exactly what Big Whoop is or where to find it.

    Big Whoop is renowned treasure that many pirates hunt for however, little do they know that it is actually a gate to a demon netherworld and is also the source of LeChuck’s demonic power. Therefore, if a normal pirate ever finds it they would be disappointed.

    Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge

    In the second game of the franchise, LeChuck’s Revenge, Big Whoop is located on Dinky Island. Guybrush Threepwood is searching for it as it is a renowned pirate treasure and to do this he has to find four map pieces left behind by Captain Marley. In the game, the player never actually finds out what Big Whoop is.

    The Curse of Monkey Island

    In The Curse of Monkey Island, Big Whoop is the name of a theme park to which LeChuck has built. In Act 5 of the game, we find out that Big Whoop is actually the source of LeChuck’s demonic power.
