In real life he played for the Philadelphia Flyers during his carrer. After retiring he switched to being a color guy on NHL TV broadcasts. Famous for his calls on ESPN, he also was heard on ABC, and Versus before getting fired from his Versus/NBC job in the studio. Now he calls games on NHL network and CSN locally in Philadelphia. He also appears on radio shows like NHL live.

As for games go he started out with the ESPN franchise but when it made the switch to 2k he didn't continue, now he is featured in the next gen EA sports NHL titles.
