I just finished this last night and I got the ending where Bo dies saving Faye. As far as I know there are only two other confirmed endings which are:

• Bo betrays you, you kill him, Rachel dies saving Faye
• Bo doesn't betray you, Cain returns and saves Faye, everyone survives (except Shindo)

After some research last night I also saw some scuttlebutt that there were more possibilities such as Bo dying after the Cerberus attacks him, Faye dying during your battle with her near Amada's body and Shindo surviving the scrapyard. Does anyone know if any of this is possible or is just the three that I listed?

This was my experience with the game. Poor Bo =(

@Morningstar: I was kind annoyed that halfway throughout the game I was seperated from him and wasen't able to get max trust with him, therefore he died. :/

Also,some things that you can't change:

* Shindo's death is mandatory )Retarded but mandatory)

* Faye survives

I don't know if this was just the standard "Bo doesn't betray you" or if this was some third Bo variant, but in my game Bo had his gun aimed at me through the whole cutscene, until right at the end when he lowered it and made some joke along the lines of "come on, man, you didn't really think I was going to shoot, did you?"

He still got smashed by that stupid robot in the end, though :(

*edit: Also, does anyone know if the game keeps going if you fail to save whoever it was that got attacked on the elevator after you saved them from the sewer flood (not long before you get Cain I think)? I'm assuming it just went to a game over, since that character could have been just about anyone (depending on who you picked to go with you at the time).

I actually think the ending I got was the best ending in terms of storytelling, everyone surviving seems like the easy option.

In my honest opinion the ending itself was quite sub par,even if you get the so called "bad" ending where one of your teammates die it's still too happy for my taste.

OK, so i was coming to this forum to ask the same exact question. The way the story played for me was this one two. But i was not sure if it was because I used faye and Bo the whole time.... or if it was just how the story goes. I was also unsure if the Hybrid would always be Faye. Also I am sooo happy about how it ends. I was all like "No Dan, chase after her!!!" Oh man, I was actaully super into the twist too. The other ways this could play out that you posted are totally worse then what happened for me. I wish Bo didnt have to go but oh well, the Main Character got the girl (who is half robot...oh Japan).

i feel like before i would have expected this super happy ending but then there was just years of media where the good ending is not all sunshine and lollipops (which is probably the kind you would have preferred), so i totally expected a happy sad ending, to my surprise it was a happy happy ending.
