    Bionic Commando Rearmed

    Bionic Commando Rearmed is a remake of the classic NES game, Bionic Commando. Although it was designed mainly as a marketing tie-in to the 360 and PS3 game also called Bionic Commando, it was actually far, far better received by critics than the real console game.

    anyone else feel the gameplay would be better if the default shot for the arm was straight ahead rather then diagonal?

    The default has always been diagonal, so... I dunno, I feel comfortable.

    no because that would be changing the game so it isn't bionic commando..the upgrades to the game are great, but it would totally violate it if they changed something thats been the same in that game forever.

    What good would the straight ahead shot do as a default anyways?  It shoots at 45 degrees because that is the most helpful position for it to be in.

    ^ yeah. you use diagonal way more than straight forward. that would be annoying if you had to keep hitting the stick diagonal when swinging across a long ceiling

    It was not a problem for me as you adjusted to it pretty quickly, what I still have problems getting used to though is to remember not to hold down any buttons if I wanna change direction mid swing, many frustrating and uneccessary deaths has come from that as I have just flewn right into oblivion.

    I want to shoot the arm with the right analogue stick.

    I just realised why they can't have that on the last part though, so nevermind.

    It would be much harder if it shot forward by default.  When you start using the grappling hook absolutely everywhere to move faster and out of harms way, you'll realize that.

    I suppose it might just be because I bought it tonight and never played the original, but the arm seems really cumbersome. I'd prefer it is there was some other way to do it like mapping it to the right stick or something. Still a pretty fun game though.

    That would only make shotting diagonally more difficult, which is much more important than shooting straight.
