    A Rare Masterpiece (Spoiler Free)

Bioshock is a masterpiece, plan and simple. It combines so many fantastic elements into an astonishing whole.
At it's very core, it is a FPS developed by 2K Boston and published by take two. It starts of with a monologue from the games protagonist, simply known as "Jack". From then, as you swim among the wreckage of your crashed plane, the story really starts to intrigue and delight, and doesn't really stop until the very end.
To me, this is Bioshock's strong point. It has a fantastic story, full of many, many undertones beyond the main storyline. It continuously throws new concepts and angles of the events leading up to, and after, New Years 1959. It has an incredble cast of characters, and most of them, if not all, seem like they very well could be real people, and it is a big part of what makes Rapture such a terrifying and real place, which leads to my next point, immersion.
This world seems so terrifyingly real, that it's amazing. Every single inch of the game world seems like it was meticulously gone over to make the best experience that they could possible make. The graphics to the sound design to the soundtrack is simply put, perfect. The things that your enemies, the Splicer's say, ranging from hilariously deranged, to downright creepy, make things seems dangerous even if it's a one on one fight.
The weapons, although not, their basic forms, complex, feel great and control well, and you have good oportunity to upgrade all of your weapons and Plasmid's, giving you a good variety and combinations of what to use to take down the manner of enemies in the game, as well as gives the game some RPG elements.
So all in all, if you enjoy a good shooter with amazing atmosphere and an unforgettable story, than Bioshock is definitely one that you should check out.

Bioshock truly is a memorable creation. 0

You are a man known as Jack, who finds himself drowning in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean after his plane crashes down. However, he is rescued from certain death by the appearance of some sort of lighthouse situated on the water itself. Too weary and desperate to consider this peculiarity for more than a moment, Jack swims to the towering building in a moment of pure introductory brilliance and finds himself in its 1960s-esque interior. Descending down after gathering himself properly, he disc...

      BioShock Review 0

When I thought new Sci-fi shooters began to overlap, I was contradicted after purchasing BioShock. The primary difference this game has (although it has numerous differences to today's shooters) is its emphasis on making decisions. At first when you are given the choices in this game, they don't seem so heavy, but as you play through this game you will see their significance. Despite a lack of multiplayer, BioShock is a very powerful shooter that gamers out there should not miss. The Plot- It is ...
