I saw the The Blair Witch Project when I was 17 with a group of friends from a day camp we all worked at together. I remember being carded twice at the theater, and the movie itself being petty scary. For the rest of the week we made stick men, and hung them in the trees around the camp. Good times...

Just watched it for the first time then reading this very fascinating. This was one of the toughest movies to watch and not be tempted to minimize the window a bit. Turning the lights on or looking at websites while watching this really steals from the whole point of letting your imagination run away with the characters. When I was able to let it take me it was truly frightening. So worried that something horrible would happen while the screen was all black.
