Overview
Block Quest V is a breakout-clone with adult-themed content developed and published for the NEC PC-9801 by WiZ on March 3rd, 1993 in Japan. Much like the original game and the plethora of clones that came after, Block Quest V sees you control a small paddle which is used to deflect a bouncing ball as it reaches the bottom of the screen. Failure to do so loses the player a life. The object of the game is to bounce the ball back to the top of the screen so that it can destroy blocks and clear the screen. Upon doing so, the player can progress to the next level.
In this specific release, there are a total of nine areas with eleven stages each. Each area has a specific theme and a female character who matches the theme. As the player clears stages within each area, the women are shown with less and less clothing each time.
