Blood of the werewolf is a basic platformer specializing in repeating itself

when originally starting up this game i was quickly grabbed by the nice aesthetics and setting of the world in which this game takes place, sadly the experience is brought down by its less than stellar voice acting.
you are playing with one main character who turns into a werewolf (melee) when under open sky, and becomes a human (ranged) when indoors. Both have their own special ability which helps them in certain scenarios (ex. the werewolf has a double jump, and the human can activate far away switches)
also needs to be mentioned that you cant choose when to transform, it just happens in boss battles and when switching areas
the game starts off easy enough, it introduces you to the basic elements by showing you what each thing is and how it works, but right after the game is done explaining it all it ramps the difficulty up to 11, with challenging platforming with combat scenarios worked into some of it. I would be fine with this, and would probably have had this on a top ten list somewhere, had the game kept it up throughout the full thing with some interesting upgrades and some ways of spicing up the platforming aspect though.
And that is where my main problem is with the game. It gets really stale really fast as you run through the same copy pasted rooms 3 times in a row with nothing but the difficulty getting ramped up slightly every time, And while the bosses and enemies in the game all look great, i just found myself dragging myself along whilst trying to get to the end of it all.
overall i have to say this game was kinda on and off for me, the combat was pretty dull for both the werewolf and the human, and the level design needs a lot of work. which leads to me giving this game a three star rating since it was not too awful, but it didn't really have anything but the awesome graphics design going for it either.
