    Overview

Bonkers was a TV show featuring an anthropomorphic cat that at one time had been a major "toon" movie star, but washed out of Hollywood and decided to join the police force. While dedicated to his police work, Bonkers is still as accident-prone and obsessed with slapstick humor as most toons, and he often creates trouble for his human partner, Lucky Piquel, who often takes the brunt of his hyperactive overeagerness. In later episodes of the show, Lucky was replaced by Miranda Wright, a blonde human cop who is a little more tolerant of Bonkers' antics.

Similar to the situation with the Disney's Aladdin games, Bonkers saw separate Genesis and Super Nintendo games, the former by Sega and the latter by Capcom. It also saw a Game Gear platformer separate from the Genesis game.
