So I just beat the DLC an picked to start up gaige and play the game as her. Right away I noticed that jumping and swinging her hammer have NO voice acting at all. Is this a common bug? Anyone else having issues?

No voice for gaige ?
From the trailers she is anything but soothing. Is it creepy if having no soothing young female voice is the thing that makes me not want to play borderlands as a 16 year old girl?
Also just now I got level 2. Nothing from her at all. And when I got a crit I thought I heard something but Clap Trap was talking.
yea i think u gotta bug she talks just as much as the rest of the vault hunters. and she definitely makes sounds when she jumps and melees
I just got a crit and she said something. Guess it is just some small bug.yea i think u gotta bug she talks just as much as the rest of the vault hunters. and she definitely makes sounds when she jumps and melees
@hbkdx12: Lilith in the first game either had an excruciating painful scream or an orgasm every time she was hit below full shields; at some point I just muted the game and listened to something else meanwhile.
Gaige said a few things often when you summon the deathbot. If you want to know who has weird lines, look at Zero. Says very little until you trigger his special then it is "Of course you made that move and in the move you will see a glint of light from my blade in the shadows..."
Just copy and paste a bunch of memes into microsoft sam and play them at full blast if you feel like you're missing a crucial part of the game.
I've actually had her talk in a man's voice in one game. Taht shit bugged someone playing as her as well the fuck out. I though it was something I had equiped but it shortly went away.

Are you saying it was random, or that you couldn't tell what was going on?
@BBAlpert: on the whole, I think she's a better character than Tiny Tina, but maybe that's just because you're not getting monologues from her. dunno if you checked out the ECHO blogs that Gearbox was posting around her release, but they were pretty alright. except the one time in one of the trailers when she said "awesomeness" and I wanted to die.
@Dagbiker:
Huh? I'm saying it was ridiculous to have her 1 below full HP yet screaming like the world was ending, very annoying; does seem to be fixed in Borderlands 2 from what I've seen.

16?
Well.
Goddammit. (goes back and mentally erases every extra second spent lingering on the main menu/in-game menus... damn my thing for cyberpunk-looking girls... also, that just made Tannis and her "standing offer" extra creepy)
It's a bug, as all of the DLC. She sometimes speaks some other she doesn't.
But hey, she is 20% Cooler, so who cares if she speaks or not.
No, she speaks. Do you have the Anarchy skill? She's very vocal when building up Anarchy stacks. She also talks when Deathtrap smokes guys, when you complete challenges and when you find loot. She basically speaks as much as the rest of the classes. Honestly, her melee grunt is really loud so I'd be happier if she did it less.
I did fear the same thing in the first 10 minutes or so though.
I really, really,
started liking this character after listening to her ECHO logs. So much so that I even go "yeaah!" at her most cringeworthy oneliners.
You can shut off the character voice, along with all the other character voices.
I'm still looking for the option to make the game's humor more than "LOL MEMES" and "OMG REFERENCE TO POP CULTURE!"

ANARCHY FOREVER!
Where did you find her ECHO logs? I just assumed she had none.

Says the guy with a Billy Mays avatar.
The game's humor is funny for the first playthrough and maybe first two hours. When you've played all five character classes and put in a good 20 hours, that's when you want to punch Anthony Burch.
Listening to podcasts with the TV muted has helped me maintain my sanity while playing this game.
