I agree with Brad, the last thing I want is another sci-fi video game where gray and brown are the last surviving colors in the future. It really sets Borderlands apart, but I still am curious as to what you actually do in the video game and what the story is going to be like. Also I am curious as to what RPG elements the game is going to have that Gearbox has constantly alluded to.
OMG
Way to copy Metal Gear Acid.
This may sound odd, but I think Borderlands just looks really beautiful. I want to get it just so I can drive around and look at rock formations and rusting machinery. If Gearbox can pull out some quality gameplay then this will be a must buy for myself.
Hopefully they will add in a gun which shoots guns.
Wow. Just, WOW. I have nothing against cell shading but this looks like junk. I can't see how anyone could watch that not think it looks terrible.
That was the opposite of eye candy.
Way to copy Cel Damage.
This is actually one of the few games that I am truly excited for. Looks fantastic and hopefully the gameplay will be up to par with the graphics. If so, we are in for a treat.
It's Gearbox. It's FPS. The textures and concepts are nice. I duno, can't find anything to complain about yet. I'll be looking for more of this.
it sort of looks like they just clicked cel-shaded button on the graphics engine. it doesn't look fully realized like Prince of Persia.
My top 5 most anticipated games for the rest of the year are:
inFAMOUS
Red Faction
Borderlands
Fallout 3 GOTY
Uncharted 2
I don't even like gun games, but I do like collecting things. So tons of upgrades and customization really has me excited. Plus I also dig cel shading over realistic graphics any day of the week. It's a video game why does it have to go for realism? Wind Waker, DQ8 and Rogue Galaxy were all very pretty games to me.
This really does look nice. Really liked that little snippet of shooting in there. Animation on the weapons seems great.
i like it. looks what champions online tried to do, but where CO failed horrible and made it look like a steaming pile of crap. These made it look awesome. cant wait.
I got way too hyped by this very brief glimpse earlier on gametrailers. I hope they have a good showing at E3.
Looks nice. Wish the outlines were a LEETLE thinner but otherwise looks like it has a lot of character.
Lord Humongous wants to see more. You know, when you have time.
Game looks beautiful, and I was already convinced I wanted to play it.
This is just the icing on the cake.
Count me in. The world needs more multiplayer co-op RPGs. Especially when they're made by Gearbox. Hell yeah!
I wes already stoked for the whole game concept here w/Borderlands, but now it just looks so much better and distinctive. Officially on the 'get it this year' list.
