What kind of scenario are we talking about? It's not like the guy has any special life saving skills I'm aware of - I wouldn't let him perform open heart surgery on me or act as my body guard in Sand Pedro Sula, for instance. If he has any hidden skills - like CPR or the Heimlicher, or maybe he's an excellent swimmer, then sure. Not like I would have any choice in those instances.

If we're more fanciful then no, I wouldn't trust my life to him in a Zombie Apocalypse or alien invasion, but that's nothing personal, there's a short list of people I'd trust then. I don't think he's a good enough hacker so I wouldn't trust him with blowing up the alien mother ship or stopping Skynet from initiating Doomsday. I don't think he's a good enough pilot to destroy the Death Star. I don't think he's a good enough tactician to stop the Borg. I don't think he's a good enough diplomat to stop the Persians but then again neither was Agamemnon, but I don't think Brad has the abdominal muscles to stop them in a war either. If he's good enough at Battleship I could trust him at stopping whatever the aliens in "Battleship" were called.

Hmm... I don't think he's enough of a leader to stop the Reapers. But I guess he could replace the protagonist in Reaper? Maybe he could stop the Covenant or the Combine but I need to see him in Spartan armor or a HEV Suit first, and I need to know how he handles a crowbar, and I'm really uncertain about whether he can stay silent for long enough. He's not a god so don't trust him with killing Zeus - but in that case it would be a plus, because the collateral I could end up in would be far smaller. So i trust him more than I trust Kratos.

I would definitely trust him at stopping the Zerg and the Protoss provided he get's to be a godlike, invisible commanding entity. But I would never, ever trust him with saving my life if my aircraft was hijacked by terrorists. There's just no freaking way.
