Braid may hit PSN - From GameFocus
If the demand for the game is there, Braid may come to the PSN after the timed exclusivity with Microsoft ends. I will definitely try it if it comes. =)
"The more people who play Braid, the better.Exactly my thoughts. Everything that can be done to make games like this successful needs to be done in order to encourage more people out there to take chances and develop creative and innovative games and bring them to market.
The more money the creators make, the better."
"Vaxadrin said:Hopefully it will. I am going to try my hardest to buy all the original games I can this year, I want to see more originality."The more people who play Braid, the better.Exactly my thoughts. Right there with ya, of course I'm antisipating plenty of sequels(thats kind of the majority of games hitting this year) but I love checking out original titles way more than just another sequel where you kind of know what to expect gameplay wise even before you play it. Even though plenty of times original games don't turn out so well... some of the ones I've seen so far look very hopeful, I can't wait to try Dead Space... I think it looks great, and from previews from 1up and such, plenty of the editor's there were very skeptical and thought it seemed way too much like a gimmick RE ripoff and changed their opinion hugely when they just played 5 minutes of it.. I really like to see original games succeed and turn out well way more than just another good sequel.
It is good news.
I don't know what all the damn whining is about. I would have paid 30$ for it if I had to. I'm in a state of sense-shock since I finished it. It haunts me, like after I've seen a movie or read a book with a deeper meaning than you see at first sight.
Sincerely, what other game does that? how can you quantify such an experience?
Braid is amazing and the devs deserve every penny they ask for. Please keep in mind that 15$ for a completely original title is very cheap and if the little profit they make allows them to work on a new and better game that will blow my mind again then I don't want to miss this.
People go to the movies all the time, certainly you do. A night at the movies:
- leaves you with nothing to show for it
- does not last as long.
- tickets for two cost more than Braid
- you are only entitled to one showing
Get your priorities straight, people. I'm sure everyone of you has paid more for a game that you have played less than you will Braid
sometimes I think you're all just a bunch of damn communists. nothing is free. especially not making games.
yea this game is getting lots of hype, and since its only 15 bucks i cant see why they wouldnt want to make its audience as big as possible.
