Same thing happened to me today. In my case, it wasn't a big surprise. You might have gotten a good score (over 75%) but if you didn't go fast enough the game probably thinks you had a hard time remembering those numbers.

I am terrible about trying to do more than one thing at once (I BLAME SOCIETY), so I figured this could be a chance to get set straight again. Having now been told I performed like a septuagenarian, I don't know that I want that kind of abuse from my 3DS. That's what my wife is for.
