    So many good ideas, but the execution essentially ignores them. 1

    If Sony’s first console were known for two things, those things would be JRPGs and trying new things. Obviously, Breath of Fire III serves as a great example of both these attributes in action.     RPG at its best. 1

    Breath Of Fire 3 is a Japanese made RPG made by Capcom. You take the rains of a young blue haired boy named Ryu. As you progress in the game you meet a colorful group of characters that will join your team. Each one has their own skill set and this changes the way each battle can play out. That helps to tune the game to your play style may it be more magic or what have you.     Breath of Fire 3 could probably have been better... 0

    Capcom’s Breath of Fire games have never been top shelf material. The main selling point is a hero who can transform into a dragon, and Capcom’s signature 2d sprite-work. Despite owning all the games in the series, I’d only ever completed the original SNES game, when I decided to start Breath of Fire 3.     Wish more of the Breath of Fire games were like this. 2

    I will admit I have not played this game in a long time, but I still remember a lot about it. I know that this game got me deeply into games and Sony related products. When I played this game for the first time I was so taken away I could not believe what I was playing.Gameplay: This game by todays standards is just another RPG Final Fantasy clone, but back then this game could stand on it own.
