    Overview

    Bubsy: Paws on Fire! is a 2.5D on-rails side-scrolling platformer developed by Choice Provisions and published digitally by BillionSoft (under the the revived "Accolade" brand) for the PlayStation 4 and PC on May 16, 2019. It will be released for the Nintendo Switch on August 29, 2019. The PS4 and Switch versions were also released in retail format.

    The sixth game in the Bubsy series of mascot platformers, Paws on Fire! switches the formula by having it as a rhythm-based auto-scrolling platformer (similar to the studio's earlier "Runner" entries in the BIT.TRIP series). It is also the first in the series to have characters from the 1993 Bubsy television pilot (with one of them, inventor Virgil Reality, as a playable character). It is also the first to have one of the series's Woolie antagonists as a playable character.
