Overview

Buriki One: World Grapple Tournament '99 in Tokyo is a 2.5D mixed martial arts fighting game developed and released by SNK for arcades (running Hyper Neo Geo 64 hardware) on May 21, 1999.

The seventh and final game released for the Hyper Neo Geo 64, Buriki One pits fighters from a variety of multiple martial arts styles (from karate to professional wrestling) in the World Grapple Tournament to find out which style conquers all.

The game features a unique control scheme, where the two buttons are used for movement (as well as blocking) and the joystick is used for attacking and special techniques.
