I've gotten four hard locks on the PS3 over the past eight hours. I'm kind of glad that I opted to rent it right now, and maybe just purchase it later. Is this anywhere near the same issue on 360?

I've gotten 2 and both happened when looking at other player emblems. If I don't do that I have zero issues

No but the servers were dowm for a while yesterday, which was annoying.

and I thought it was my internet being a dick again......
