    I'm playing the game on veteran but I got to the first one of those and it was sooooooo bad. Me and a bunch of retarded morons vs a billion dudes and those goddamn flying drones. Is there a setting to adjust the difficulty just for the strike force missions? No way this is that hard for somebody playing on normal.

    it's my understanding that the strike force missions are entirely optional. You won't get the "good ending" but at least you won't have to suffer through the worst levels in the game on the hardest difficulty.
