So, decided to make use of those custom slots by actually naming the ones I had configured. Like my Assault kit. Only ... oh, no we're afraid you can't do that. You submitted text that is banned! 
 
Seriously? Nobody at any point in the QA process ever tried creating a loadout called "assault" during the entire development of the game? It seems like something almost everyone would have done, by default, very early on. And no, A.ssault isn't allowed, either. Nor is A$$ault.

Yeah, that actually kinda pissed me off.

At least it's not automatically renamed "Blam".   That was also the first class name i tried.... now known as Rifle.

But they put in icons in your emblem that you easily can make into penises?

My class names were Shooty, MLG pro, Runner, and sniper.

Just for fun, I named my class "ASSAULT!!" when I created it, and it worked just fine. Not sure why it worked for me -- maybe all caps and two exclamation points somehow tricked the system, but a couple of my friends ran into the same problem you did.

I understand blocking racist tags but 'fart' who the hell is offended by the word 'fart' in fact I think there are probably a lot of kids movies with frequent uses of the word 'fart'. In MW2 I named by loadouts, Shit, Poop, Caca, Feces, and Crap with no problems.  What does it matter anyway?  You're the only one that will ever see YOUR loadouts, right?  Ridiculous.

I can't remember what game it was, but I learned from someone else's experience that tthere was a DS game that wouldn't allow the name Jacob in the character name entry screen.  I think it might have been one of the Yugioh games.

That is kinda funny tbh, I just tested it out and it accepts "ASSWORLD" but not "ASSAULT" 
 
The fact that some of you are getting so worked up about it though really shows how petty and childish you are. I'm starting to think it might be a purposeful joke from Treyarch tbh... 
 
EDIT: Accepts ASSAAULT too...in fact it'll take almost any variation on the word. 
 
EDIT 2: Just for the lulz, it will also accept TASTYASS, seriously think this might be a pretty amusing little Treyarch joke.
