With Activision surprisingly dropping the price of the legacy edition to $60 including PSN's extra %10 off code this seems like a good time to pick this up. Has everyone been happy with the remaster or is it just blind nostalgia? I've heard some good things about Infinite Warfare so I'm also open to giving that a shot instead of just buying this for COD 4. Im kinda just juggling between this, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2.

Do not buy this just for Call of Duty 4. It will almost certainly be made available on its own at some point in the future. Infinite Warfare's campaign looks cool as hell though, and may be worth $60 in conjunction with Modern Warfare.

The IW campaign is really fantastic, but its not worth buying the game for that alone. If you can rationalize other parts of the package to being almost worth it, I'd probably say pull the trigger. The CoD4 Remaster is fun nostalgia but really shows its age, and all the innovations in later CoD's make the multiplayer feel limited and restrictive.

Battlefield 1 is incredible this year, but I would say only buy it if you know you like Battlefield already and are looking to play a lot of the multiplayer. It's multiplayer is probably the most teamwork oriented of the three, so if you can rope any friends into playing with you that'd be a huge plus (although not required by any means).

I picked up Titanfall 2 when it was $30 on Origin the other day, but I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet. Hearing amazing things about the campaign, but it really does sound like the multiplayer is very quiet already unfortunately. If you are interested in playing this online, you might want to consider getting this one sooner than later before the matchmaking times get uncomfortably long.

The campaign for Infinite Warfare is really, really good with some amazing production values. If you just want to play COD4 instead of the new campaign then don't buy this package because the remaster is an added bonus rather than the focus.

Don't buy the whole meal if you just want the fries. That said it's a pretty good meal this year.
