Just got back from Gamestop and they said that once you pre-order, you get one free DLC "something" every week until the game comes out. Guns, equipment, etc. That's all the info I got.
DLC guns and equipment would ruin the multiplayer.
Yeah, that's why I'm assuming its just unlocking stuff upfront rather then having to level up. Maybe some cosmetic stuff but anything substantial for multiplayer would trow it off.

@Jayross: The girl at Gamestop must've been confused, or lying. We were talking about MW3 and she was really pushing the pro-order. I should've confirmed before posting, and now I know.
@Jayross: What the hell? My local GS says, extra DLC The one 20 minutes away says you get a poster.
Just got off the phone with the Gamestop that's 30 minutes away. The DLC is not officially confirmed, and according to the manager, employees shouldn't be talking about it. The poster is a confirmed bonus, the DLC is expected and more info should be released in 4-6 weeks.

Why are you asking gamestop employees questions? They don't even know what they have on their own shelves. All this calling stores why don't you just google the information?
Secondly MW3 will have a Premium monthly service with perks, so this is the least of your worries.
