Their other post gives says way to much, there was a spoiler waring but do they really need to pretty much tell the whole story?

i'm all for some Call of Duty single player action. it's always been intriguing and engaging.
However -
Multiple sources have shared details of the game's story, art, sounds and game modes withKotaku, noting that the game will reshape the landscape of the Call of Duty franchise, bringing an impressive number of eclectic settings, and deep multiplayer gaming
Infinity Ward has lost its heads. three fucking studios are on the job. they haven't had the time to re-write their shitty 5 year old engine and their entire staff consists of level designers and art specialists.. There is no way in hell they're deepening anything or reshaping anything. they're just creating new levels and character models, and new art for their game. Running on the same tired engine with the same animations and weapon sounds and lack of destructibility and small time maps
in my 11K posts i've never called anyone an idiot. but we've all had enough of you idiots pushing this game forward and fucking up our gaming lives in the process, with games like Crysis 2 and Homefront and Resistance 3 and Battlefield 3 all being wasted on COD competition by being stripped the fuck down of their elements and turned into clones.
I don't really mind them possibly ruining the entire story like they probably just did. I love MW2, but it's not like I understood what was going on half the time during the first playthrough.
Having read the info, sort of glad to say I'm done with Call of Duty. Sounds like it'll be fun for those that still enjoy the franchise.
I have played through the single player in both the previous Modern Warfare games so I may get this... the multiplayer does absolutely nothing for me though so I may have to give it a miss.
I was getting pretty interested too, but graphically it looks nearly identical to BlackOps and MW2 in some of the screenshots." I getting quite interested with what they are gonna do with this game. From the various rumours/leaks it sounds like they are gonna try to take it to the next level. "
Edit: This one in particular looks like BlackOps.
" I keep saying I wont buy another COD but I'm trading blops in for this. Spec Ops mode is what I crave. "I take that back. Spec Ops was the only reason why I kept going back into MW2. That was a ton of fun.
I kind of take this with a grain of salt because there is no mention of Ramirez and Foley. There's no way they would just ignore them, would they?
" i'm all for some Call of Duty single player action. it's always been intriguing and engaging.Agreed.

I dug CoD. I don't think I've really had fun with the online since MW, but the campaigns are always a lot of fun. Looking forward to this.
Is it me, or does the first guy in this video:

Sounds a bit like Dave doing a voice?
MW3 seems to be releasing right next BF3..
" Is there any way to read this without actually visiting Kotaku? "This.
" by info blowout do you mean spoiling the entire game? or so neogaf says, i havent read it yet, but it sems it even spoils who dies and shit. Im staying away from it in any case, and from this thread really :P "Yeah, they literally do plot point by plot point throughout the whole game.
" Wow. Has any other game had the ENTIRE single player spoiled before it was even announced? "I don't recall anything...definitely not this far in advance. The game hasn't even been fully announced yet. Holy shit.
" @Ahmad_Metallic: So you've played through all of Battlefield 3 then and know everything about it? "insert facepalm here
Let me guess: an American or heavily accented SAS soldier will shoot at more cannon fodder than the entire population of New Jersey. You will be funneled down a what is essentially a corridor in exploding setpieces ranging from not-Iran to Russia and enemies that respawn out of thin air until you trip over an invisible wire. You will fire massive shells from an AC-130 and all the people you kill will be armed and dangerous with no civilians caught in the crossfire whatsoever. There will be no questions about the morality of war or even the cause you are fighting for. There will be map packs sold for $15 instead of free ones created by the community. There will be no dedicated servers.
And it will still outsell any other video game on the planet.

" @RecSpec said:Nope, the Rangers section of MW2 ends as you lighting the green flare as Ramirez." I kind of take this with a grain of salt because there is no mention of Ramirez and Foley. There's no way they would just ignore them, would they? "I might be confused, but doesn't Ramirez die? "
" i'm all for some Call of Duty single player action. it's always been intriguing and engaging.Apparently part of MW3's selling points is huge destructibility - I doubt it'll be even close to what BF3 will provide but I'll wait until E3 before I judge this.

Hm. Somewhat.... interesting. Might play it, if I have the cash and the time to do so.... and I almost certainly won't! Sorry! I'll be waiting for a discount.
" Hm. Somewhat.... interesting. Might play it, if I have the cash and the time to do so.... and I almost certainly won't! Sorry! I'll be waiting for a discount. If this game is like past MW games, a discount will take months to happen. I think it took after BLOPS before MW2 dropped in price. BLOPS did drop down in sales quicker, so maybe the trend is weakening? I sure hope so, because I loved MW and MW2, and BLOPS was ok, but they need a serious overhaul. I will wait on reviews before getting this game. Especially since a new contestant (BF3) has entered the ring.At least the story is (somewhat) better than MW2's, from what they've revealed. Although I bet Activision and co are going to now change huge swaths of the story because of this. Most of all - please last more than 5-6 hours. Please? Pretty Please? I might actually get it in that case. Also - who else thinks a pissed off IW employee leaked this? All of you? Okay then."
Not gonna read! There has been some discussion around the net how this is totally wrong to do, but for me at least it is not a huge deal. If they are giving people a heads up and giving people good warning enough to not look, it's fine. Plus... its Modern Warfare 3. It's not like it is the next massive RPG or story based game being totally outed.
Very interested to see what happens with this game from a larger "what does this mean for the industry" stand point, but just as a game, it seems pretty standard.
"HEY GUYS THERES THIS GAME CALL OF DUTY AND IN IT YOU PLAY MULTIPLE DUDES AND LOTS OF CRAZY STUFF HAPPENS ALSO THERES MULTIPLAYER"
Not that I look down on the series, and I'm going to buy this, but for as big of a scoop as it is, it doesn't reveal anything exciting. I'm sure Activision is pissed that all this got out there, but the entirety of the leak pretty much boils down to "it's like Call of Duty, but a new one."
"Though your opinion makes my stomach turn, i'm glad you enjoyed it. better than my experience - cringing my way through, with the beautiful triumph that is Crysis 1 clouding my mind and having me shake my head violently at the shit that is Crysis 2.Also, I will defend Crysis 2's SP campaign to my last breath. Multiplayer was a clone and little else but the story mode was a massive improvement on the first in a lot of substantial ways while still maintaining some of the freeform nature. Not enough for my tastes admittedly, but I had a blast with the game and it looks gorgeous on PC."
