    Gametrailers = 9.3

    IGN = 9.0

    G4TV = 5 stars

    These are just some of the sources giving this game very high scores.

    Gamers all over the net are raging and calling foul.

    Do you guys agree, or do you think this latest entry is good enough to deserves those scores?

    People are dumb. (Not the reviewers, unless they have a hella obvious bias)

    The vocal minority is vocal as fuck, anyone who isn't paranoid about it accepts it as a quality game albeit nothing we haven"t seen before.

    Gamers that are raging all over the net need to grow the fuck up and discover what real world problems are.

    If they can't handle that (the real world is kind of scary), then maybe they could actually play the game for themselves and form an actual opinion on it, rather than just getting their panties twisted because someone else liked it.

    So far I like the game more than MW2, so I can't really see what's wrong with the scores. I haven't been playing Call of Duty non-stop for the past 5 years, so perhaps that's why I'm liking it? Sure, there's nothing revolutionizing about it, but all I wanted was a new Call of Duty experience. And that's what I got.

    @AV_Gamer: Let me ask you a question.

    Why does this bother you? How does it affect you?

    It's a great game. End of discussion. It deserves good scores. Does it deserve GOTY? Probably not. It's more of the same, but it sure is a heck of a lot better than Black Ops, so I'm pretty pleased. If you're burnt out on COD games or never liked them much to begin with, don't expect that to change. If you're like most people and love the games, you should be pleased as long as you're not expecting any major overhaul.

    I'm in the same boat, the only Call of Duty experiences I've had are the modern warfare titles, having that once every two years is fine by me and the core shooting in these games is still some of the best out there.

    @KarmaPoliceman:

    I will answer your question, with a question.

    How does any forum topic bother or affect anyone?

    It's just a thread, someone named AV_Gamer posted.

    One of thousands.

    Is that so wrong?

    What?! You mean after constant bad mouthing Modern Warfare 3 the game actually turns out to be pretty good?! Obviously it's unworthy to the scores it's been getting.

    In my opinion the game is good and deserves the scores. If you don't like the game that is fine but don't berate the reviewers for their OPINION. Most of the people getting angry seem to be channeling their anger for Activision and the popularity of the series at the game. Comments like 'Call of Duty is ruining the industry' make no sense to me. How are they ruining the industry when the game contributes millions to the industry and introduces more people to gaming? Why is the popularity of the game a problem to some, don't we want gaming to go mainstream? Why do people care what others are playing, if you don't like the game don't force your opinions on others?

    As jeff said on the bombcast. He had to review the game objectively. By itself its a great solid FPS, but also as he stated he won't be playing it. Because he's just tired of the series. I share his opinion on that. That I'm just tired of MW, BUT

    it doesn't make the game bad. The review scores make sense.

    That should answer your question. Dunno why people made this some personal attack on the OP. Good job keeping your cool though OP.
