    Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen is a music producer and keyboard player for the band Poets of the Fall who performed the theme song for Max Payne 2.

    Despite being a member of the rock band Poets of the Fall, Captain is best known in his own country as a dance music producer. This is most apparent in the 'drama dance' remix of Poets' hit 'Lift'.

    Along with Marko and Olli, Captain appears as himself in the fictional TV in Alan Wake.

    As a solo project he provided the music for the zero-gravity shooter Shattered Horizion.

    While his band, Poets of the Fall provided a for the physics-based puzzle game, Rochard, Captain is also overseeing the game's music.

    Like his fellow band member Marko, Captain has often spoke about his love for 'story/narrative driven' games, citing such examples as Alan Wake, Heavy Rain and the Uncharted games.
