    Overview

Carmageddon: Reincarnation is an indie over-the-top racing / vehicular combat game developed and digitally published by Stainless Games for the PC (via Steam) on May 21, 2015. It originally received two Early Access periods: a closed one on March 27, 2014 and an open one on February 14, 2015. It was later delisted from the marketplace in favor of its updated successor.

The fourth entry in the Carmageddon series (after Carmageddon TDR 2000, released 15 years prior) and developed by the same studio behind the series' first two games, Reincarnation is often seen as a franchise reboot and updates the classic ultraviolent vehicular carnage for modern-age computers.

The game was originally funded through a Kickstarter campaign in 2012, with the initial $400,000 goal reached on May 27, 2012. It later received an updated successor in 2016, known as Carmageddon: Max Damage, and was pulled from Steam in favor of it.
